“Make Me Famous” to screen at three Laemmle theaters on July 10-11!

Cheers to our clients at Red Splat Productions — and the whole cast and crew of Make Me Famous — on their upcoming screenings at Laemmle’s Glendale, Claremont 5, and Monica Film Center theaters on Monday, July 10 and Tuesday, July 11!

Make Me Famous explores the colorful career of fringe artist Edward Brezinski—and the lively 1980’s NYC art scene in which he obsessively chased fame and recognition.

This frenetic, can’t miss documentary will be screening at the three aforementioned Laemmle locations on July 10 at 7:00 PM, and on July 11 at 1:00 PM.

Producer Heather Kelly Spore and director David Vincent were also interviewed by Filmmaker Magazine for a fascinating and in-depth article about the making of Make Me Famous.

We were particularly excited and grateful to see our very own Dale Nelson (and DCP) get a shoutout from Heather when she was discussing the extensive clearance work needed for the film!:

“We hired the pros when we got stuck. For example our Fair Use lawyer, Dale Nelson at Donaldson Callif [Perez], had spent time in 1980s NYC and was instrumental in finding ways around certain issues.”

We’d like to thank Heather for the generous mention—and give a huge congratulations to our clients for the continued recognition and coverage of Make Me Famous!
