Lisa Callif Named as a Hollywood Reporter Power Lawyer for Second Consecutive Year

Partner Lisa Callif has been named to The Hollywood Reporter’s 2017 Power Lawyers list for her work on numerous critically acclaimed films, including Weiner, Making a Murderer, Snowden, He Named Me Malala, De Palma, and I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead.

In her profile, Lisa discussed a specific challenge she overcame for the feature Ingrid Goes West. When Instagram wouldn’t provide permission to use its logo in the film, Lisa wrote an opinion letter saying it was fine to use the logo anyway. “You can’t make a movie set in the present day without using social media,” she said.

The Hollywood Reporter determines its Power Lawyers list each year by researching the biggest deals and lawsuits in the entertainment industry to identify the 100 most influential attorneys in Hollywood. The list has become the go-to for the top legal minds in the industry.
