DCP to Sponsor Inaugural RISE “Indie Film Financing Summit”

DCP will be sponsoring Rideback RISE’s first-ever “Indie Film Financing Summit” on October 4, 2024, at the Rideback Ranch in Los Angeles. 

Chris Perez is slated to moderate the “Intro to the Industry” panel at 2 pm PST, discussing the differences between studio financing and indie financing, the challenges currently facing the indie film industry, and vital considerations for filmmakers. Pnelists include Charlotte Koh (Executive Producer, Lionsgate), Ted Hope, (CEO, Double Hope Films), and Ben Kramer (Co-Head of Media Finance, CAA).

Rideback RISE is a non-profit organization aimed at amplifying the voices of mid-career people of color in the mainstream film and television industries to create narrative change and advance racial equity.
