Congrats to our clients at the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival!

 

This year’s 43rd annual festival will run from September 5th through the 15th in Toronto, Canada. 

We want to send a special congratulations to our clients who will be premiering their projects at the festival. 

Uncut Gems 

Directors: Benny Safdie and Josh Safdie 

Set in the diamond district of New York City, Howard Ratner, a jewelry store owner and dealer to the rich and famous, must find a way to pay his debts when his merchandise is taken from one of his top sellers and girlfriend.

The Lighthouse

Director: Robert Eggers 

The Lighthouse is a 2019 black-and-white psychological horror film directed by Robert Eggers and written by him and Max Eggers. It stars Willem Dafoe and Robert Pattinson. The film chronicles the story of two lighthouse keepers as they are faced with solitude, but start to lose their sanity and become threatened by their worst nightmares.

The Kingmaker 

Director: Lauren Greenfield

Documentary centering on the controversial political career of Imelda Marcos, the former first lady of the Philippines whose behind-the-scenes influence of her husband Ferdinand’s presidency rocketed her to the global political stage.

The Giant

Director: David Raboy

When her first love suddenly reappears in her small Georgia town the same night that a series of killings begin, teenage Charlotte is forced to reconcile her past and present, her traumas and nostalgia, as it becomes increasingly clear that her life is at risk in ways she never imagined.

I Am Not Alone 

Director: Garin Hovannisian

Red Penguins 

Director: Gabe Polsky

Red Penguins tells a story of capitalism and opportunism run amok – complete with gangsters, strippers and live bears serving beer on a hockey rink in Moscow. Shortly after the collapse of the Soviet Union, the Pittsburgh Penguins and the famed Red Army hockey team formed a joint-venture that showed anything was possible in the new Russia.

The Vast Of Night

Director: Andrew Patterson

Set at the dawn of the space-race over the course of one night in 1950s New Mexico, a young switchboard operator and a radio DJ uncover a strange frequency that could change their lives, their small town, and all of Earth – forever.

Ready For War

Director: Andrew Renzi
