Michael Donaldson and Lisa Callif Present at 2018 SXSW

Partners Michael Donaldson and Lisa Callif will speak at the 2018 South by Southwest (SXSW) film, music and technology festival. On March 11, Donaldson will present “How to Save Big on Lawyers and Stay Safe,” discussing how independent filmmakers can avoid wasting thousands of dollars on lawyers, and the contracts and vendor lists that every filmmaker needs. On March 15, Callif will moderate the “To Get or Not To Get: Life Rights & Non-Fiction Films” panel, discussing whether filmmakers need to secure life rights to craft their true stories and the advantages and disadvantages of making those decisions.
