Lisa Callif to Speak on Film/TV Panel at 2025 Loyola Entertainment Law Conference
The firm is pleased to announce that Lisa Callif is slated to speak as a panelist at this year’s Loyola Entertainment Law Conference taking place on Friday, February 21, 2025 at Loyola Law School’s DTLA campus. Lisa will speak alongside fellow panelists Ellie Heisler (Partner, Nixon Peabody LLP) and Brad Miller (Partner, Davis Wright Tremaine LLP), moderated by two third-year Loyola Law School students and Entertainment Law Review editors, Yasmin Bagherzadeh and Stephanie Silviera.
The panel, titled “Shifting to Smaller Screens: Negotiating Talent Deals in an Increasingly Digital Landscape,” will delve into the shift in negotiation strategies as traditional media competes for viewership with advertising-based video-on-demand services like YouTube and Tubi, as well as other streaming services. The panelists will also share their insights as to how this evolution has impacted the indie film landscape.
