Lisa Callif to Speak at the Media Law Resource Center and Southwestern Law School’s 2026 Entertainment and Media Law Conference
Lisa Callif is slated to speak at the Media Law Resource Center and Southwestern Law School’s 23rd Annual Entertainment and Media Law Conference, a leading industry event that brings together legal and entertainment professionals and thought leaders to discuss timely and significant topics emerging in the respective fields.
The panel entitled “Advising Creators in the Artificial Intelligence Age” will take place on March 19, 2026, from 1:15 pm – 2:15 pm and will be moderated by Robyn Aronson. Lisa will be joined by panelists Sarah Fowler, Deputy General Counsel at SAG-AFTRA; Anke Strijbos, Partner at Brinkhof; and Damion Taylor, a Los Angeles-based media strategist, technology entrepreneur, and producer. Together, these esteemed professionals will engage in an insightful and practical conversation exploring the use of AI in film production, including the copyrightability of AI-generated outputs, international regulation of AI, distributor and labor issues, and the use of client content for AI training.
