The shift from law school to the professional world can be a difficult transition. In the bylined Money Inc. article “A Letter to Myself as a New Lawyer,” Partner Lisa Callif referenced her own experiences and challenges as a young lawyer while offering advice to those entering law firm life for the first time.
In her article, Lisa outlined the importance of asking questions, requesting clarification on projects, taking responsibility for mistakes and going the extra mile to build personal relationships with coworkers and clients. “You never know when you might need to call on someone for a favor, or what client will turn out to enhance your career,” she said.
