Dale Nelson Speaks on Warhol v. Goldsmith Panel at the Copyright Society’s 2024 Midwinter Meeting
Dale Nelson has been invited to speak at the Copyright Society’s 2024 Midwinter Meeting taking place from January 26 – January 28, 2024, in Rancho Mirage, California. Her panel, entitled “The 15 Minutes Are Over…Now What?: The Application of Warhol v. Goldsmith In and Out of the Courts” will take place on January 28th at 10:45 am PST. During the presentation, Dale and her fellow panelists will discuss the recent ruling of the infamous case surrounding “transformative” fair use, and how the lower courts will decide the extent to which the ruling impacts the analysis of fair use questions arising for a variety of other creative works.
The annual Copyright Society meeting brings together members of the copyright and entertainment communities globally for a weekend of networking and keynote presentations by prominent industry professionals. MCLE Credits will be available for attendees practicing in the California, New York, and Pennsylvania jurisdictions.
