Dale Nelson recently joined Syracuse University, Chapman University, and the University of California, Los Angeles to present to aspiring students interested in film, television, radio, and entertainment law. In her respective presentations, Dale touched on key legal production topics, including fair use, life and personal rights, risk decisions, location and appearance releases, and other prevalent legal matters that may arise in documentary and nonfiction filmmaking. These presentations are part of an ongoing educational initiative dedicated to providing future creators with the knowledge needed to navigate the legal complexities of the entertainment industry as they begin their professional careers.
