Dale Nelson Joins International Documentary Association Panel on AI
Dale Nelson will be speaking on the International Documentary Association’s virtual panel, “AI and the Law: What Documentary Filmmakers Need to Know” on Tuesday, March 3rd from 9:00 am to 10:30 am PST.
She will be joined by copyright attorney Jan Bernd Nordemann, with Northwestern University professor Dr. Aymar Jean “AJ” Escoffery moderating the discussion on how AI is reshaping nonfiction film.
Through an exploration of recent influential AI case studies, the panelists will examine emerging legal precedents and gaps in the law as the technology rapidly advances across the industry. Attendees will gain practical clarity and confidence on key considerations for AI compliance.
