Chris Perez to Speak at Sundance Collab’s Weekend Intensive on Navigating AI in Filmmaking
Chris Perez is slated to participate in an online weekend intensive hosted by Sundance Collab, the Sundance Institute’s digital learning and community platform made up of more than 100,000 creators from 177 countries. The intensive is scheduled to take place via Zoom from June 13 to 15, 2025. Chris will speak from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. PT on Saturday, June 14.
In his presentation, Chris will delve into the legal considerations related to AI-generated content in filmmaking and offer guidance to filmmakers on integrating AI into their work, drawing on his experience as an advocate for filmmakers as well as his role on the Archival Producers Alliance’s Advisory Board for the Generative AI Initiative.
