Chris Perez and Victoria Rosales Present to the USC School of Cinematic Arts on Film Rights Clearance

Chris Perez and Victoria Rosales recently spoke to the USC School of Cinematic Arts student body on September 29th at the Norris Theater. Their presentation, entitled “The Fundamentals of Film Clearance,” overviewed rights clearance issues within the film industry, providing practical knowledge for aspiring student filmmakers.

Together, Victoria Rosales and Chris Perez shared legal insights on topics such as key rights issues when delivering a film to a distributor and what difficult IP issues may arise in the making of a film, helping students become more prepared for the rights and legal issues they may come across in their post-grad careers.
